Founded in 1854, with just 16 students and four professors, the University of Melbourne has become one of the finest universities in both Australia and the world. With a vast campus, spread over the Melbourne and Victoria area, the University of Melbourne concentrates on many different areas of study, often leading the way in both research techniques and findings.
