Rialto Towers has been the tallest building in the whole of Melbourne, since opening in 1986, and was also the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere for many years. Standing in the heart of Melbourne city centre, this popular landmark features an Observation Deck, which provides stunning panoramic views of Melbourne city and beyond, complete with café, gift shop and video about the development of Melbourne. One of the most striking features of the Rialto towers is the semi-reflective glass exterior, which was designed to changed colour when the sun begins to set.
